I can't believe it's 2 months since you left us Mum.

Well, we had Dad's funeral last Thursday, and I was so happy to see a full house again at the Crematorium.

Roy gave a great eulogy for Dad (had everyone in stitches about some Peter-isms!) and we all felt we were really saying goodbye to both of you.

Things are moving on with paperwork and logistics, and I am just hoping you guys can see that we are all coping, and hopefully making you both proud. Any ups and downs are just blips at the moment, and we all trust the road ahead will smooth out a bit over time.

Totally miss having you at the end of the phone, or drving up and popping in for some veg off the allotment.

Your grandson is bulking up well, and he has even started eating mashed banana, avocado and carrots! You were right Mum, his teeth were coming through, not too long now and he'll have a toothy smile I will imagine.

Anyway, miss you both. Really painful today as exactly 2 months since your awful day. I hope you felt me there with you, and I am sorry I couldn't hold your hand through it all.
